For the past few years Rob and I have discussed moving but the time just never seemed right. This past spring the subject came up again and for the first time we both felt that it might finally be the right time to sale our home of 24 years. We put our house up for sale on Thursday, May 5th and then I left for Alabama two days later. On Tuesday, May 10th Rob called me from Utah to say that we had a full price offer on our home. Yes FIVE days after our home went up for sale it sold! EIGHTEEN days after we put our home up for sale we closed the deal. Fortunately the people who bought it were kind enough to let us rent the house back from them until July 2nd. And even kinder were our wonderful daughter and son-in-law who have allowed us to stay with them while our new home is being build in South Jordan, Utah. We will miss our old home and wonderful neighbors but with how quickly our home sold we KNOW that we were suppose to move. We are excited to see where this new chapter in our life will take us!

Our home is currently ready for Sheetrock and the anticipated move in date is the middle of October. I will try and get some pictures to post of what it looks like now! By the way I have decided that packing up a home that you have lived in for many, many, many years is absolutely NO fun. There is no way we could have done it if it had not been for our kids coming over everyday for weeks helping us and the help of our wonderful neighbors and friends. We are so blessed to have such amazing people in our life.
